Right now, information on eczema is confusing and in so many different places, right?
Limited advice from those who we expected to know the most.... official eczema pages, blogs, FB groups, forums, more...
Varying advice, much simply symptom management.
So I dug deeper, delved into the medical literature and current research evidence on the causes, the factors, the options...
Interpreting it all with my PhD hat on - I'm the research nerd so you don't have to be...
And I had finally put the many pieces of the puzzle together.
It all made sense.
And the reason why was…
...Eczema is a complex condition with multiple contributing factors.
You're probably realising that nothing works in isolation, right?
Not that one cream.
Nor that one magic probiotic.
(As wonderful as that might be!)
When I gave up obsessing about only suppressing the symptoms and focussing only on one piece of the puzzle…
And looked into the likely reasons why my son had eczema…
Things clicked into place!
And all this by addressing the known causes as reported in current medical research.
So without all of these pieces of the puzzle in removing/minimising triggers and addressing the root cause...
Things wren't going to change
And I want parents like you to be control.
To have all of this information at your fingertips, without scouring the internet and 10's of health professionals for far too many months, while you remain in the overwhelm watching your little one struggle.
I want parents to have a jargon-free, step-by-step action plan... a roadmap that’s evidence-based, already interpreted for you by someone with a PhD (that’s me!).
A way for parents to save months and months searching for this information themselves - to reduce the stress, the loneliness and the heart break on this journey when approaching eczema with all its contributing factors!
